Dropbox jobs redesign
A welcoming front door and employer brand
When we began this project in 2014, Dropbox was just beginning to define its identity as an employer. The company was expanding quickly, from 3 offices to 12, and adding new teams around the world.
Working closely with the marketing lead, my role included:
Conducting interviews to identify important aspects of company culture
Developing clarity around what we had to offer for people's careers, beyond a job and benefits
Writing copy for the home page, team pages, and location pages
Developing a style guide and process for consistency and bias mitigation in job descriptions
Prior to the website redesign, I also wrote many of the employee profiles that are featured on the site. Both the site and the profiles continued to yield great results long after they were created.
Before
This is what the Dropbox Jobs site looked like before we started our work on the redesign.
